Jeffrey Griffin has significant experience representing professionals in professional liability matters, including representing individual health care providers as well as both acute and long term care facilities. He is also a member of the American Healthcare Lawyers Association and advises health care providers regarding issues related to credentialing, privileging, regulatory compliance and peer review.
Beyond health care, Mr. Griffin represents small and mid-sized businesses and their ownership in disputes that occur both within their business as well as with third parties. These matters include landlord/tenant and leasing issues, insurance coverage disputes, contracts and contract disputes, debt collection, and workers’ compensation and other employer/employee matters.
As an active member of the Memphis community, Mr. Griffin is passionate about his work for Juvenile Interventional Faith-Based Follow-Up (JIFF), where he currently serves on its board of directors. Mr. Griffin is one of the founding board members of TEN45, Inc., a 501(c)(3) that strives to assist young people competing in sports, and has worked with TEN45 to provide assistance to the men of the Raleigh-Egypt High School football team including equipment and resources, fellowship and Gospel-centered teaching. He has also previously provided pro bono legal services to the Scarlet Lawrence Akins Foundation, which raises money for melanoma awareness and research. In his spare time, you will find him with his wife, Heather and his children, Nathaniel and Mary-Kirksey.
