Melanie Dunlap concentrates her practice in the areas of general civil litigation, including personal injury and premises liability, business litigation, medical malpractice and domestic relations.
Ms. Dunlap is also one of the few attorneys in the Mid-South who practices equine law. Growing up showing horses in a variety of disciplines, she is passionate about equestrian-related matters. Her extensive knowledge of this field is an asset when serving in a legal capacity on many equine issues, including premises liability, personal injury, matters involving boarding facilities and training, equine sales, various contractual arrangements and other equine activities.
Ms. Dunlap’s dedication goes above and beyond her legal work in these matters; she is also active in increasing awareness for these issues. In 2011, she wrote an article for the Mid-South Horse Review, the Mid-South’s Equine Newsmagazine, explaining equine liability issues.
