In addition, the firm’s trusts and estates practice group represents fiduciaries and family members in implementing estate plans post-mortem, including marital deduction funding and elections, fiduciary income tax planning, estate and inheritance tax compliance, resolutions of controversies with taxing authorities and general probate administration. In conjunction with the civil litigation group, the trusts and estates group participates in will contests and other estate and trust litigation.
