Charles Brasfield obtained his bachelor’s degree in finance with a concentration in international business from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He received his Juris Doctor from the Mississippi College School of Law. While enrolled in law school, Charles served as president of the Law Student Bar Association and interned with the Office of the Public Defender in Covington, Tennessee.
He is of counsel at Harris Shelton and is also vice president and corporate counsel at Patriot Bank.
Charles is deeply involved in his community through a number of organizations. He’s a graduate and current member of the board of trustees for Leadership Collierville, a member and past president of the Tipton County Bar Association, and a member and past president of the Covington Lions Club. Charles also sits on the board of directors of both the Boys and Girls Club of the Hatchie River Region and Dyersburg State Community College Foundation. Outside of the office, Charles enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, as well as playing golf and guitar.
