Rice Byars has more than 30 years of experience in probate matters, asset protection, and estate planning with an emphasis on structuring complicated and large estates, including drafting trusts (domestic, offshore, generation-skipping, grantor-retained annuity, qualified personal residence, charitable, living, and insurance), family limited partnerships, private foundations, durable powers of attorney and living wills.

As a Memphis native, Rice strives to serve the community in many ways. He can be found around town sharing his wealth of knowledge and speaking at various charitable and civic organizations. He enjoys playing golf, traveling, and spending time with his family – wife, Susan, and two children, George and Virginia.
