Abby Sala’s ability to connect, communicate, and understand her client’s needs and desired results enable her to find solutions that are practical, efficient, and advantageous. Whether it is civil litigation, professional liability defense, health care liability defense, or a business dispute, Abby works tirelessly to gain the best possible results for her clients. She has extensive experience defending clients in premises liability, products liability, and personal injury matters, as well as defending health care professionals in licensing disputes with their respective boards. She has also represented both plaintiffs and defendants in commercial disputes.
When faced with a particularly complex or challenging case, Abby leverages her communication, writing, oral advocacy skills – as well as her talent for exploring creative and sometimes unconventional solutions – to ensure the best results are obtained based on each client’s individual needs and goals.
Abby has actively served the Memphis Bar Association (MBA) and legal community throughout her career. She was recently elected to the MBA Board of Directors for the second time, and she will serve as a board member from 2024 to 2026. She co-chairs the MBA CLE committee, planning current seminars for her fellow lawyers. Abby is the secretary and treasurer of the Lawyers Journal Club, a local group of attorneys who meet monthly and present papers on current issues in the legal community. She is also a Master in the Leo Bearman, Sr. American Inn of Court.
Abby and her husband Patrick enjoy spending time with their young son, Louie Sala, and traveling. During her free time, Abby enjoys playing tennis, reading, cooking, entertaining, and spending time with her family and friends. She and her husband are also members of Christ United Methodist Church.
