John H. Ott

Johnny Ott, an attorney with focus areas including personal injury law, estate planning and family law, became counsel at Harris Shelton in 2023. He brings more than forty years practice experience, being admitted to the Mississippi bar in 1980 and the U.S. Supreme Court in 2018. He is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell.

Throughout Johnny’s significant legal career, his goal has always been to analyze client goals with the facts and the law. He prides himself on transparent communication and prioritizes sharing the truth of the matter at hand.

Johnny serves in various capacities with Trustmark National Bank and the Mississippi Board of Bar Admissions. Outside of the office, his passions include playing golf, tennis, and pickleball. He is also a longtime Ole Miss fan.
