Dee is an Oxford native, and his family has been in Oxford for five generations. He focuses his practice in business and corporate law, residential and commercial real estate transactions, real estate development work, and contract negotiations in healthcare law – as well as handling healthcare regulatory matters and transactions. He handles land use entitlement matters, zoning, commercial and residential development, and commercial condominiums. Dee handles these real estate matters for businesses in various sectors, including retail, healthcare (hospitals and physician practice groups), restaurants and bars, energy companies, recreation, timber, and mixed-use developments.

Dee also provides fast and reliable closing services for the sale or purchase of any commercial, recreational or residential property and is a title agent for Chicago Title Insurance Company.

Dee advises clients in a broad scope of business deals; negotiates and closes business transactions, including stock sales and acquisitions; asset sales and acquisitions; mergers; joint ventures; and technology licensing transactions.

Dee represents clients in the restaurant and bar industry and has experience with alcohol regulatory and licensing matters in Mississippi. Dee brought his licensing and regulatory experience within the alcohol industry to the new Mississippi medical cannabis industry and is representing clients ranging from small boutique medical cannabis growers to larger, vertically integrated medical cannabis companies. He is a Sustaining Member of the International Cannabis Bar Association (INCBA).

Dee is a former NFL Agent and has experience representing professional athletes and college coaches with contract negotiations, marketing deals, and various NCAA issues. He also represents businesses and college athletes in Mississippi and Alabama with negotiating and closing “Name Image and Likeness” (NIL) deals.

Dee also handles estate planning matters for medium to large estates including wills, trust agreements, and healthcare and financial powers of attorney.
